Age Rating: 8+
On stage, a young man speaks directly to us about a very personal fascination: sounds.
He addresses the audience as if giving a presentation.
At the center of the stage stands a long table — almost like a control desk — filled with various devices, objects, photographs, and recordings.
He talks about the impact sounds have had on his life.
Starting from his childhood, he shares how this fascination began and slowly took shape.
At first, his story feels deeply personal.
But as it unfolds, we begin to realize how profoundly sound lives within our collective memory.
We don’t just hear the sounds he describes — we sense them.
With our memories, our emotions, our intuition.
Even sounds we’ve never actually heard before feel strangely familiar.
Sounds from the present, from our childhoods, from centuries past…
They merge, separate, collide, transform — and carry us on a journey.
The young man follows the sounds of the city he lives in, and we follow him.
Personal history turns into shared memory.
Through what we hear, we confront what we’ve forgotten, notice what we’ve grown used to, and listen again to what we’ve long passed by.
We rediscover a city — through sound.
