To some, he was a madman who pushed the limits of reason; to others, a saint of the tavern. With his “ney” that carried the breath of his restless soul and his “mey” without which he could not live, he was a wanderer on the inner path of nothingness — the King of Nothingness: Neyzen Tevfik.

With his flute in hand and sharp words on his tongue, he rebelled against injustice, bigotry, and oppression. A poet, musician, and master of satire who defied social norms and lived without boundaries — from the Bektaşi lodge to the mental asylum, this is his journey through nothingness.

The play tells the story of Neyzen — the man said to have drunk as much rakı as the Marmara Sea — wandering between worlds, sometimes mad, sometimes enlightened; a heart as his only lodge, living on the fine line between sage and lunatic. Through anecdotes, satires, and poems, the play dives into the depths of this sharp-tongued, drunken philosopher’s soul, tracing his path from nothing to everything.

In this story, a cruel circus owner underpays the clown who works for him. One day, when the clown faints from hunger during a performance, the ringmaster fires him. As if that weren’t enough, he also throws away the clown’s red nose. And without his nose, one cannot truly be a clown… So our hero sets off on a journey to find it, beginning an adventure full of surprises and heart.

“The Father” offers an experience that drifts between remembering and forgetting, prompting us to reflect once again on what it means to be human in the face of time.

Alice has grown tired of the tea parties frequently held in her garden and the guests who attend them. To her, everything feels dull and monotonous. She dreams of a colorful and fantastical world where impossible things always come true.
One day, during yet another tea party, she follows a white rabbit and suddenly finds herself in Wonderland. In her battle against the evil Red Queen, she is joined by many fantastic characters — a talking cat, a mad hatter, a march hare, a sword-wielding mouse, the white rabbit, and more.
In Wonderland, Alice encounters unbelievable events, unsolvable riddles, and nonsensical wordplays. Everything she experiences turns out to be nothing more than a dream.
The play awaits its little audience members at Maximum Uniq Box.
