Semaver Kumpanya has been staging Moliere's famous play "Cimri" for six seasons to sold-out audiences, featuring Tansu Biçer's interpretation and Serkan Keskin's much-talked-about performance as "Harpagon."
"The least human among people in the world; the most hard-hearted of all living beings on earth, the stingiest of misers. Nothing can be more barren than his love, more sterile than his caress. He finds it so hard to give that he doesn't even give greetings, he takes them; he only takes..."
This is how those who know Cimri describe him... Who is this Cimri? Is he really as merciless, hard-hearted, stingy, and evil as they say? Is a person born this way? Is he just a written character? Do such people exist around us? What would it be like to live with such a person?

In the 17th century, French comedy writer Moliere's famous work " Cimri" offers a glimpse into the inner and outer structures of many people and families, from a perspective that looks between examining a particular class and making generalizations, witnessing strange coincidences.
